The Constitution of the United States is a restriction on the Government not the People. The Constitution is the objective standard to determine whether or not the activities the government is involving itself in are to be truly supported by the American Public. There seems to be a disconnect in that enough of the American Public do not fully participate in the political process, but it must be fully comprehended that when the government breaks or weakens the Constitution and subsequently strengthens governmental controls over the public that THE PEOPLE are the enforcement branch to maintain a Constitutionally restrained government. In essence... the people are to enforce the Constitution of the United States onto the Government, not the Government forcing U.S. Citizenry to submit to control.

Now here is just one of the powerful features that you should be aware of, which is comprehensive caselaw listings associated with Constitutional law for FREE.
STEP 1 - Constition of the United States (Annotated)

STEP 2 - Search Results will produce around 5 or so results because you are searching only the source document, rather than everything on the V|LEX website. This is an important distinction. Click the "See More Results" and it will produce all of the citations used in the cases associated with the one that you clicked on.

You will find an overwhelming amount of caselaw about the subject matter that you have searched and selected. Watch for PDF documents off to the right of the screen on all of your searches for articles, cases, and annotations. You will find that a ton of caselaw is being sealed up into pay sites and you can actually archive the information you find at this site for use later. We will discuss how to use local search engines to build your own caselaw repository in upcoming articles. V|LEX will get you started on researching any important federal subject that has been listed in previous annotations of the Constitution of the United States as provided by the Government Accounting Offices.
As usual, you can find out other Advocacy and Research Tools, just like this one, on our Saturday Night GET OFF THE BENCH Informal Advocacy Training Calls. Want to participate live on Saturday Night?
